DuraLabel PRO Self-Laminating
Wire Wraps

Applying a Wire Wrap Label

Use the DuraLabel PRO 300, 7000 & 9000 to make wire wraps for identifying cables and wiring. Its high quality thermal transfer resolution produces clear, professional, easy-to-read wire and cable labels.

A major advantage of self-laminating wire wraps is that they can be applied to a wire or cable after it has been terminated. Other cable-marking methods must be applied before terminating the wire. This makes wire wraps excellent for wires that have connectors, such as CAT-5 cable.

A wire wrap consists of an opaque label with a clear tail. The label is printed on the opaque section and the tail is wrapped around the wire or cable to cover and protect the label. Wire wraps are typically used on wires and cables that are 1/4" and larger in diameter (inwire wrap suppliescluding insulation). For smaller wires use shrink tube labels.

Wire wraps are available in sizes up to three inches wide, for cables up to one inch in diameter. For more information, or to inquire about wire wraps for larger cables, please call 1-888-326-9244.
