DuraLabel Vinyl Tapes for Arc Flash Labels
Vinyl tapes are available in widths from 1/2" up to 9 " and in two thicknesses, 2.0 mil and 3.0 mil. The 3.0 mil tapes provide heavy-duty, durable labels. These are the tapes that are normally used for making labels and signs. The 2.0 mil tapes provide greater flexibility for labels that need to conform to curved and irregular surfaces. DuraLabel PRO vinyl tapes are available in over 60 colors--more colors than any other label printer. DuraLabel vinyl tapes are industrial-grade, chemical resistant, durable indoor/outdoor vinyl that lasts for years!
Low-temperature vinyl tapes, made with special adhesives, are also available. Labels made with these tapes may be applied at temperatures below freezing. They are typically used in cold-storage facilities, but may also be used when labels need to be applied during the winter.
Arc flash labels may be made with the DuraLabel PRO and the DuraLabel 7000 and 9000 using a variety of supplies.
DuraLabel Die-Cut Arc Flash Labels
NFPA 70E Arc Flash die-cut labels are available for use with the arc flash software included with the DuraLabel.
DuraLabel die-cut arc flash labels come in 4" x 6" and 7" x 11" sizes and come on 4" wide rolls. They are available with either a DANGER header or a WARNING header. Both types are shown to the right.
The WARNING labels come with a pre-printed orange header. The DANGER labels come with a pre-printed red header.
Labeling Hazardous Materials: Die-cut
labels are also available for making RTK labels in a
variety of sizes and formats. Both NFPA diamond labels
and color bar labels are available. NFPA diamond
labels are available in sizes from 2" x 2" up to
4" x 6". Color bar labels are available in
2" x 2" and 3.5" x 4" sizes. All die-cut
RTK labels are adhesive backed, chemical resistant,
industrial quality vinyl. Database software for printing
die-cut RTK labels is included with the DuraLabel PRO.
Blank die-cut labels are available with either a DANGER header or a NOTICE header. These labels are 4" x 6" to 7" x 11" in size.
The red and black DANGER header is pre-printed on the die-cut label. Templates are provided with the DuraLabel PRO for easily printing your customized information in the white space on the label.
The die-cut NOTICE labels have a pre-printed blue and white header. The DuraLabel PRO and the DuraLabel 7000 and 9000 allow you to completely customize your signs and labels, and the industrial-quality, adhesive-backed vinyl will last for years in harsh environments.
Wire and Cable Labeling
Both shrink tube labels and self-laminating wire wraps are available for the DuraLabel.
Shrink tube labels are made from polyolefin. They are sleeves that, after being printed, slip over the end of the wire. They are then heated and shrink to a tight fit. Self-laminating wire wraps have a printable opaque area and a clear tail that wraps around the wire or cable to cover and protect the printed portion of the label.

Specialty Labeling Supplies
A variety of other specialized labeling supplies are available for the DuraLabel PRO.
Reflective tapes are available in 18 colors. They provide high visibility labels that are excellent for low light conditions. Reflective indoor/outdoor, adhesive-backed vinyl comes in 2-packs of 75 ft. rolls. The standard widths are 4", 3", 2", 1" and 1/2".
Phosphorescent vinyl tapes will glow in the dark for hours after a light source has been removed. In any low-light environment, phosphorescent labels and signs can help you increase safety and decrease accidents. This glow-in-the dark vinyl is great for marking walkways, exits, fire extinguishers, stairways, corridors or any other potential safety hazards created by loss of light. Phosphorescent, adhesive-backed vinyl comes in 50 ft. rolls. The standard widths are 4", 2", 1" and 1/2".
Valve tags make your facility safe by eliminating confusion, reducing search time and cutting down the potential for accidents. A valve tag consists of a sturdy plastic tag to which a standard vinyl label is attached. DuraLabel printers allow you to easily and inexpensively create customized valve tags for your facility.
